Starting in 2019 the world encountered the start of a worldwide pandemic which started in China and within 3 months it had spread throughout the world with thousands infected in each country and hundereds dying every day. By March of 2020 the UK was in a total lockdown, we have to date (February 2021) been through a further 2 lockdowns and the only people working through these lockdowns were the keyworkers who were keeping the country ticking over and of course the nursing staff who were fighting the battle against the pandemic to be know as "COVID-19"
At the Dunholme Camera Club we have set up this page to commerate the pandemic and hopefully have a memorial to all of those who fought the battle against this terrible disease and especially those who lost the fight during this terrible period, let these images be a reminder to everyone that we are a very fragile species.
